ECLA is an Academic Research Organization devoted to provide support and expertise for the conduct of clinical trials in Latin America.

With headquarters located in Rosario, Argentina, offices in Montevideo -Uruguay and local representations in Sao Paulo-Brazil, Temuco-Chile, Lima-Peru, Bucaramanga-Colombia and Quito-Ecuador, ECLA leads the coordination of clinical trials in the region.

In the early days of 1987, ECLA designed and conducted the first full-scale clinical trial in the setting of acute myocardial infarction in collaboration with Oxford University, UK. Since then, more than 30.000 patients have been enrolled in controlled clinical trials.

Bachema is a laboratory that specializes in physical-chemical and environmental microbiology analysis of water, soil, air and waste.

We offer detailed exams of organic and inorganic compounds, microbiological and ecotoxicological, measurement of asbestos in materials, and the study of soil treatment and pilot tests for biogas and biodiesel production.

We have the latest, most up-to-date equipment for contaminants analysis.
