ATDBio is a UK-based SME with laboratories in Southampton and Oxford, specialising in the synthesis of highly pure DNA oligonucleotides.

ATDBio makes oligonucleotides that are used in academic and commercial research in the fields of genetics, genomics, molecular biology, biochemistry, biotechnology and nanotechnology, including some of the world's largest biotech companies. We supply a wide range of custom-made unmodified and chemically modified oligonucleotides for small and large scale applications. Collectively, we have well over 50 years' experience in nucleic acids chemistry and oligo synthesis, and we are at the forefront of nucleic acids research.

ATDBio was founded in 2005 by Prof. Tom Brown, Professor of Nucleic Acids Chemistry at the University of Oxford and one of the world's leading nucleic acid chemists, and Dr Dorcas Brown, an expert in oligonucleotide synthesis.

ATDBio has recently heavily invested in increasing its R&D capabilities by expanding both the main site in Southampton and developing a new dedicated R&D site at the Oxford Science Park, including new equipment for the synthesis, analysis and purification of oligonucleotides.

Chiral Quest, founded in 2000, serves the global pharmaceutical industry with custom contract chemical development and manufacturing services, from preclinical development to commercial supply. We have a state-of-the-art R&D laboratory equipped with modern analytical instruments, as well as a first class manufacturing facility. Chiral Quest has successfully developed more than 400 intermediates for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients ranging from preclinical to phase III, with four intermediates being supplied for API’s approved by the FDA. We manufacture technology advantaged products from grams to metric ton scale.

Chiral Quest has a manufacturing site in Jiangxi province, China; Headquarters and R&D center located in Suzhou Industrial Park, China; 3 business/customer service offices located in the USA, Europe and India. We have expertise in asymmetric hydrogenation, multi-step synthesis and cryogenic reactions. Based on our key technology and capability, we can supply chiral compounds, including non-natural amino acids, chiral alcohols and chiral amines, on a kg to ton scale. We are better than anyone at manufacturing Phenylalanines! We also manufacture achiral intermediates.

Chiral Quest's R&D center at Biobay, Suzhou Industrial Park has more than 30 chemists, including 7 with Ph.D. and 8 with M.S.degrees. We have over 20 granted patents covering asymmetric catalysts and novel processes. Based on our technology, we manufacture many API intermediates with high enantiomeric excess.

Jiangxi Long Life Bio-pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. a wholly owned subsidiary of Chiral Quest, is dedicated to research, development and manufacture of pharmaceutical intermediates and fine chemicals. The factory is located in Jinxian Industrial Park, Jiangxi province, and has more than 200 employees, more than 230 reaction vessels and 410,000 L capacity. More than 23 million US dollars was invested in 2013 to expand the plant and establish a cGMP capability.

EDASA Scientific’s R&D site is based in Moscow State University’s (MSU) Science Park. As a result, EDASA Scientific has access to MSU’s facilities, as well as a broad range of scientific instruments for compound characterizations such as X-ray, bidimensional NMR, elementary analyzers, and HPLC. EDASA Scientific has access to talented MSU students and premium Russian scientists to be allocated for our collaborator‘s projects. We are also able to partner with MSU’s biological organizations for project follow-ups in biology.

MicroCombiChem GmbH is focused on the synthesis and preparation of complex heterocyclic compounds with scaffolds and qualities expressing the high demands of today's pharmaceutical and agrochemical research.

Screening libraries, plant ingredients, natural compound derivatives and further rare chemicals are produced by state-of-the-art chemistry and preparation methods. The compound libraries are developed and synthesized by applying defined parallel syntheses from combinatorial chemistry methods.

The production is performed in small scales (milligram to gram) with possible upscaling to kilograms in cooperation with partners on-site. HPLC-MS/NMR is a standard feature for the analytics, while the services include custom synthesis and preparation of the samples according to the customer's request.
