Kemwell is a contract biologics development and CMO company providing services to global biopharmaceutical organizations. Kemwell facilities, located in Bangalore, India, are designed and developed with technological support from a leading German pharma company. Kemwell provides customers with cost-effective access to state-of-the-art technology for all mammalian cell culture based products’ development and manufacturing.

15,000 sq. m. Kemwell facility consists of a cGMP drug substance manufacturing area with over 4500L bioreactor capacity, sterile fill and finish areas for cGMP drug product manufacturing and process development laboratories to support production of protein therapeutics from mammalian-cell culture – monoclonal antibodies, bi-specific antibodies, fusion proteins, etc. Kemwell is capable of supporting novel, bio-better and biosimilar programs’ preclinical development, clinical development, cGMP clinical manufacturing and cGMP commercial manufacturing.

Kemwell, having established in 1980, had long term associations with pharma majors such as Bayer, GlaxoSmithKline, Merck KGaA, Novartis, Pfizer and others for small molecule contract mfg. and R&D. In 2016, Kemwell divested its small-molecule division to focus on biologics, leveraging its vast and rich experience. Kemwell is now a 100% biologics CDMO.

Abnova is the first biotech company successfully integrated the IT-style management and industrial-scale antibody manufacturing. Our goal is to have at least one antibody to every human expressed gene in human genome.

In Phase I of our business plans, we vastly expand the scope and availability of antibody reagents for the research market by taking a genome-wide approach to the high throughput production of human protein and antibody. There products are marketed through a combination of E-commerce based direct sales and a multi-tiered, sales network of over 49 distributors around the world.

Starting from Year 2009 to 2013, in Phase II of the business plans, we have diversified into the systems arena focusing on antibody pairs, ELISA kits and instrumentation for rare cell isolation. In Phase III, we focus on in vitro diagnostics development concentrating on non-invasive, liquid biopsies of circulating tumor cells, ctDNA, and exosomes for precision medicine. Now in Phase IV (Year 2017 and later), we have focused on drug development specializing on immunotherapy. The value-added business has set the path of company's future growth and provided opportunity for Abnova to contribute to the biotech industry at large.

Acris GmbH was founded 1998 as a spinoff of DPC Biermann GmbH, the German subsidiary of Diagnostic Products Corp., Los Angeles. Acris took over responsibility for marketing the DPC Biermann research products, mostly antibodies.

From the very beginning it was our mission to serve the research community with high quality research products. It was our strategy to develop a platform for thousands of high quality antibodies in one easy to search online database. Now 15 years after founding the company we offer more than 210,000 primary antibodies partly sold as Acris branded products partly offered as distributed products from all over the world. As complementary products we added more than 40,000 proteins, 15,000 lysates and 4,000 kits.
During the years Acris Antibodies developed from a German distributor to a global player in the research product / antibody market. Distributors in Europe and Asia were added and in the beginning of 2011 we set up our US subsidiary Acris Antibodies Inc. in San Diego.

The next step will be to evolve into a real antibody manufacturing company during 2013 and 2014. The basis will be our new lab in San Diego able to manufacture catalog and custom antibodies and peptides. In addition antibody testing services will be offered for flow cytometry, immunocytochemistry and western blotting. The lab will also be able to manufacture monoclonal antibodies.

We are a global manufacturer of products expanding beyond Native Human Antigens (Purified Proteins) and Polyclonal Antibodies; Diagnostic kits with Rapid Diagnostic Tests, Slide & TurbiLatex reagents, and strives to ensure customized quality products are delivered to IVD manufacturers and suppliers across the world.

Advy exports its products around the world, significantly to USA, Europe, Japan, and China. On the back of a successful reputation and a growing base of experiential knowledge, Advy also entered into the Indian market since 2010.

We lead the global market in the production of C Reactive Protein – an inflammatory biomarker, Alpha 1-microglobulin – a renal biomarker, and produce a wide range of polyclonal antibody products. The antibodies for these products are raised in goats against various human proteins from its ISO 9001 and CPCSEA compliant animal farm.

We also have the necessary expertise to manufacture diagnostic test kits. The rapid range of diagnostic test kits includes Malaria Antigen Rapid Tests and Dengue Rapid Diagnostic Tests. The Advy facility is compliant to EN ISO 13485 and to GMP manufacturing practices.
